Aloha!
I'm back with another rooftops' installment showcasing a collection made between December 2022 & May 2023.
I love this set because it was made while on a concurrent assignment documenting the almost-complete GTC complex in Westlands, which I hope you've read about already. It's taken a bit of time to get them out of the kitchen, but, it's here.
As with every shoot, the idea is to take in both sunrise and sunset views of Nairobi's skyline [assuming I'm shooting in the city] and appreciate how the light affects the overall look-and-feel of the scenes in front of me, assuming the weather plays to my tune. This one wasn't any different and despite challenges in the weather conditions, I managed to make a few good ones.
But, enough with the dialogue. I will let the images do the talking so let's get straight to business.
We start in Upperhill, looking towards the CBD ...

Then Community area, looking towards Upperhill & Westlands ...

Next, we head to CBD at look towards Upperhill & Westlands ...
---
... and finally, a fortunate series showing the sun rising right behind Rahimtulla Tower. Talk about right-place-right-time kind of situation!

Wait! There's a bonus.
Check out these halflife blends, because what is a cityscape shoot by yours truly without a couple of halflife composites.

That's that.
Looking forward to the next one!
